Our Founders
Brian Harmon
Co-Founder | Co-Owner
Brian Harmon has dedicated 20 years to the green industry as a respected leader known for his experience and passion.
With seven certifications and four Southeast awards, he has received national recognition and has even contributed to eleven industry, magazine publications.
After selling a company he founded in 2018, Brian co-founded Limelight Lawns, continuing to grow while also serving his community.
He values time with family and friends by the pool, beach, or campfire, and remains active in community service and mentorship. As a husband and a father, Brian finds joy in life beyond work, turning each day into an opportunity to serve, love, and laugh.
David "Monty" Montgomery
Co-Founder | Co-Owner
David “Monty” Montgomery is a U.S. Army veteran with a strong medical background, graduating at the top of his pharmacy class at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School.
After military service, he pursued his passion for science, achieving high honors in applied science and chemistry from Midlands Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also holds a South Carolina Pesticide Applicator’s license from Clemson University, giving him extensive knowledge of plant science and sustainable practices.
Recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and attention to detail, Monty is dedicated to enhancing landscapes and promoting environmental health, a commitment deeply rooted in his love for the outdoors.
He and his family actively participate in outdoor activities and community events, reflecting their shared appreciation for sustainability and landscape aesthetics.
